A: The Shout House is a rock ‘n roll dueling piano bar. Dueling pianos are two piano players/singers performing at two, face to face grand pianos in front of two large mirrors performing the classic rock ‘n roll hits from the 1950s to the present. The show is request driven by the audience and with the use of multiple teams, goes non-stop all night. It’s the great music hits of all time combined with great showmanship, energy and comedy.
Q: What is the age range of the attending patrons?
A: 21 + The Shout House appeals to people of all ages. On any given night you will see people celebrating a 21st birthday along side a 50th birthday. The show is adult oriented however, so don’t bring Grandma if she is going to be offended by a few four letter words.

We are a very casual venue. Flip flops and shorts are welcome! But be advised, people pay to see the show, they don’t want to have their vision blocked by your large hat or balloons, so leave the sombrero at home. Admittance of purses, bags or backpacks, etc. are subject to search – No weapons allowed. Anyone resisting inspection will be refused entrance.

FAQ ABOUT RESERVATIONS
Q: How do I make reservations?
A: We take all regular reservations through the website for parties of 2 to 24 on our RESERVATIONS PAGE. Be ready to provide your credit card information when you make the reservation.
Q: What is the likelyhood I will be able to get a table if I do not make reservations?
A: On the weekends we hold some tables for non reservations. If you arrive when the doors open at 6pm on Friday or 6pm on Saturday night you are more likely to receive a table, but we do fill up quickly. There is standing room available always but you may have to wait in a line if we are at capacity.
Q: When will my card be charged for my reservation?
A: Your card will be charged the night of your reservation, a few hours before the doors open. So unfortunately you will have to front your friends the cover fee and assume the risk that the flakey ones may not pay up, but it will all be worth it when you get great tables.
Q: What if I want to add people to my reservation?
A. We do our best to accommodate everyone. If we have room you can call us at (619) 231-6700 OR reply to your confirmation E-mail, and we will add to your table. The earlier you call or E-mail and let us know, the more likely this can happen.
Q: Can I make reservations after 7pm?
A. You can make reservations until 8:00pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. On Fridays the latest you can make reservations is 6:45pm, and Saturdays 6:30pm. Unlike most venues downtown, The Shout House is already very busy by 7pm, and since we are a live music venue, we don’t want to perform for empty seats. We take all regular reservations through the website.
Q: What if I need to cancel my reservation?
A: You may call and cancel your reservation for a full refund up to 48 hours before your scheduled time. If you call within less than 48 hours but before opening that evening, you do not get a refund but you can use that reservation for another time. The number is (619) 231-6700.
